One of America's busiest Lindy and Balboa teachers, Valerie has a reputation for her finesse on the dance floor.  She emphasizes musicality and connection regardless of the style of swing.  Since 2002 Valerie has taken home the 2003 National Jitterbug Championships (NJC) Grand Slam Championship, became both the 2004 NJC Balboa Champions and the 2004 American Lindy Hop Championships (ALHC) American Showcase Champions and most recently, (in 2005) she returned to ALHC to place 2nd in the same competition.

Viva Dance

Viva Dance Studio is pleased to be offering Lindy Hop and Jitterbug (east coast swing) as part of their comprehensive dance curriculum which includes social and competition Ballroom, Salsa, West Coast, Hustle, Hip-Hop, Belly Dancing and more! Tuesday & Wednesday nights on the west side in Strongsville, Ohio!! Loreto "Lo" Agdinaoay and Tina Caruso, two long-time, homegrown swing dancers will be teaching four levels of Lindy Hop and two levels Jitterbug beginning each month/session (4 classes = 1 sesson). Our goal is to teach a solid connection, impart solid social swing dance concepts as second nature and teach students to just enjoy the music!

Neal & Christy Dorenkott practice six styles of swing dancing including: East Coast Jitterbug, Lindy Hop, Charleston, 20's Charleston, Shag and Balboa. They offer swing fundamentals and solid lead/follow basics in their five or six week classes, workshops, special group instruction and private lessons.

Cleveland Swing and Salsa

Cleveland Swing and Salsa is a full service dance company offering both private and group lessons in all styles of swing. Fred and Tina Price

FRED & TINA are from Cleveland Ohio and have been married for 23 years. They have been dancing the Hustle for over 24 years. They're best known for the “graceful way” they dance their Hustle.

Introduced to the West Coast Swing in 1996 they quickly fell head over heels with the dance. They love that they can combine their favorite past-times -DANCING – TRAVELING and MAKING NEW FRIENDS. Both Fred & Tina teach dance part time and would love to make it a full time career.

They both have played a very important part in their hometown dance club-The Cleveland Akron Swing & Hustle Club. Fred has held such positions as President, Vice President, Music Coordinator and club DJ and Tina has been the club’s Treasurer, Workshop Coordinator and CASH BASH Co-Event Coordinator.

They are invited to teach workshops to judge dance competitions at Swing& Hustle dance events across the country. They also compete and have numerous titles and trophies to show for their accomplishments. Fred also DJ’s occasionally at some of these events. They have a passion for dancing and hope to share some of that passion with you. They are so excited to be able to share their dance experience with you and they are looking forward to seeing you in their workshops and on the dance floor.

Elegance in Ballroom and Latin Dance Studio

Elegance in Ballroom in Chagrin falls offers a wide variety of Ballroom, Latin, and Swing dances. Our goal has always been to prepare and provide our students with the tools for social dancing, showcases, and competitions. If you want to compete, or just have fun dancing we will work with you. Privates and groups available, no partner necessary.
