Here is a quick rundown of how Facebook integration works. In all cases, it's assumed that you have a Facebook account.
Scenario 1: Creating a Cleveland Swings account from Facebook
If you don't have a Cleveland Swings account, you can let Facebook create one for you (instead of creating one yourself). Click the blue "Sign In" button on the login form. Facebook will confirm that you want to allow Cleveland Swings to access your account. Click "Allow", and Cleveland Swings will use your Facebook info to create a new account for you. This account is linked with your Facebook, but it is recommended that you visit your profile and set your account password. To do that, go to your profile and click the "Edit" menu. Select "Update your profile" and click the "Contact Info" tab. You can set your password there.
Scenario 2: Linking your Cleveland Swings account with Facebook
If you already have a Cleveland Swings account, log in to Cleveland Swings using that account. Once you are logged in, click on the blue "Sign In" button below your avatar on the site's front page. Facebook will confirm that you want to allow Cleveland Swings to access your account. Click "Allow", and your Cleveland Swings account will be linked to your Facebook account.
Once you have a linked account
Once your Cleveland Swings account is linked to your Facebook, you can log into Cleveland Swings by clicking the blue "Sign In" button on the login form. So long as you are logged into Facebook, you'll automatically be logged into Cleveland Swings. Note that clicking the blue "Sign Out" button will log you out of both Cleveland Swings and Facebook.
Unlinking Accounts
If you ever want to unlink your Facebook and Cleveland Swings accounts, visit your profile on Cleveland Swings. The "Edit" menu above your profile will have an "Unjoin this site" option. Click it, and your accounts will be unlinked. Once accounts are unlinked, you won't be able to log in to Cleveland Swings using your Facebook account. However, Cleveland Swings will remember who you are, and automatically relink your accounts if you click the "Sign In" button again.
