Over the years, the old site accumulated a lot of information about area swing resources. Some of it was out-of-date cruft, and a good portion of it is still current. Transferring that information to the new site is a bigger job than upgrading the site itself, but I have made some progress.

If you look to the left, you'll see a new "Local Resources" link in the main menu. Clicking on it will call up some information about area teachers, bands, etc. I'll transfer the rest of this information over the next few weeks, but this is a start. Under the old site, area teachers could submit and edit their own information on the board. The capability is not available on the new site, so let me know if you're listed and would like something changed or added.

On other fronts, a popular feature on the old site was the birthday list. That list did not survive the transition, but it was replaced by something better. If you browse through your forum profile, you'll see an entry for your birthday. Set it, and phpBB will automatically post your upcoming birthday at the bottom of the forum page. I'm working on making that information available from the portal page, but this is a start.
