Come and join us in downtown Canton for a swing dance at the Metropolitan Centre, featured as a part of Canton's monthly First Friday arts festival. This is one of the few swing-only dances to happen in Stark County since the late 90s. Come and help make it a recurring event!

A beginners lesson will be given at 8pm, followed by live band from 9-12. Toledo's Hepcat Revival will be featured in June, while Cleveland's Blues Deville will be playing in July. Both bands are well known and loved all over Ohio, and will surely bring smiles to the faces all who come. Admission is $10 ($8 for students) and includes both the lesson and the dance.

Built in 1919, the Metropolitan Centre is a restored Knights of Columbus building, located at 601 Cleveland Ave SW in the Canton arts district. We'll be dancing in the beautiful ballroom, large enough for 300 people. The Metropolitan Centre also features a scenic patio, while the Blue Olive jazz bar and Chronicles restaurant are housed on the ground floor.
