We can help you learn how to dance with a partner and survive a song or two or twelve on the dance floor without making a complete fool of yourself.
We at Get Hep Swing have over 12 years of experience teaching partnered dancing to the masses. We will make sure that by the end of this 2 hour session that you not only know the very basic steps to the Jitterbug; but that you also know the basic concepts behind leading and following ANY PARTNERED DANCE!
Even if you decide that swing dancing is not for you; this class will help you with your foundation in lead and follow skills. You will learn how to dance in open and closed positions and a few simple turns. We promise to go slow, practice a lot, and that you will get to dance with the teachers many, many times.

This workshop is being taught by Valerie Salstrom and Matt Mitchell from Get Hep Swing. Matt Mitchell and Valerie Salstrom are both multi-year National and International Swing dance champions in several dance forms. Valerie Salstrom is the founder of Get Hep Swing and Matt and Valerie both teach and perform for Get Hep Swing.
This class will be held at the Brecksville Center for the Arts at 8997 Highland Dr, Brecksville, Ohio 44141. BCA is located very near the intersection of 77 and 82.
